lovely room

The location was perfect, so close to all the attractions. We loved our junior suite. The toiletries were really nice and had a lovely scent. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

my only critique would be the noise from furniture being moved late at night, a bit distracting.

Breakfast arrangements feel a bit off, as it's not a buffet and predefined food options might leave some guests with choices they don't like, which can feel wasteful. The route from the train station needs a sturdy map since it's a stony walk that doesn't do favors to luggage. The room showed some signs of wear, with scratched floors and minor mold above the shower that suggests some maintenance attention is overdue. If you value a good view, request a street-facing room-overlooking a courtyard roof may not be everyone's cup of tea.

The location in a very nice area was incredible, with shopping streets and a main market nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for tips about Haarlem. They assisted with luggage, which was nice.
